bulletLIQUID HELIUM RESEARCH DEWARS
A liquid helium reservoir dewar with surrounding liquid nitrogen shield and variable temperature insert defines the most popular research dewar. The sample is fast change, top loading and can be manipulated while operating. Typical operating temperature range is between 1.4K and 325K.

High efficiency CN-E models offer very low liquid helium loss rates. Typical optical configurations offer miniscule, 0.025 - 0.040 l/hr, liquid helium loss rates!
bulletSUPERCONDUCTING MAGNET SYSTEMS
Most popular are split coil optical systems. The SM6 model leads the industry in efficiency and standard features, such as large optical solid angle and full length radiation shielding for the sample tube allowing high temperature operation with low liquid helium consumption.

Standard solenoids are available with magnetic fields to 17T, cryogen free or LHe styles. Combining a bucket dewar with a top loading superconducting magnet and variable temperature insert is typical and a powerful research tool!

bulletBUCKET DEWARS
CRYO manufactures both stainless steel and epoxy-fiberglass styles that are available in a range of sizes and styles with vapor cooled shields or liquid nitrogen shielding.
bulletRC102 & RC110 CRYOGENIC WORKSTATIONS
Continuous flow variable temperature sample in vacuum cryostats. If sample in vacuum, portability, low cost, fast cooldown and easy for graduate students to operate are desirable features, the RC102 can do them all. Operating range is 1.4K to 325 with a 1000K extended temperature option. A transfer line with flow control is supplied. Just stick the line in the storage dewar open the flow valve and have the sample at approximately 4K in 8 minutes!
bulletRC152 CRYOGENIC WORKSTATIONS
Continuous flow variable temperature sample in vapor cryostats. Quick sample change, high power handling and efficient vapor cooling are just some of the features.

Standard operating temperature is <2K to 325K with continuous flow. 1.4K temperature is accessed in one shot mode, i.e., flow off. An exclusive buffer volume design can provide extended low temperature operation at 1.4K. The 1.5K option extends the continuous operating temperature down to 1.5K with a 16cfm pump - a world record low for continious flow operation!

bullet3He (pdf)
Operating down to less than 300 mK, these helium 3 systems can be integrated into our cryostats, superconducting magnet systems or inserted into standard storage (transport) dewars.
bulletLIQUID NITROGEN RESEARCH DEWARS
Sample in vacuum pour fill cryostats. If sample in vacuum, LN2 cooling, portability, lowest cost, fast cooldown and easy for graduate students to operate are desirable features, the LN102 g & LN110 can do them all. Operating temperature range is 65K to 1000K. Our thermal link design simplifies operation and provides sophisticated specifications. Our unique VP (VariPower) design allows adjusting the cooling power externally for highest efficiency and experimental versatility. Refill while holding the sample setpoint temperature for unlimited 'run' time; no need to remove the thermal link or crown assembly for filling or emptying!

Sample in exchange gas cryostats offer quick change top loading samples. Samples are cooled by immersion is static exchange gas. The liquid nitrogen reservoir surrounds the central sample tube. Load your samples into this tube filled with exchange gas and samples will immediately begin cooling. The exchange gas thermally couples the sample to the liquid nitrogen. The thermal coupling to the liquid nitrogen is controlled by adjusting the amount of exchange gas in the sample tube. Ultra high temperature stability is a characteristic of sample in exchange gas systems.

Sample in vapor cryostats offer quick sample change, high power handling and efficient vapor flow cooling. Liquid nitrogen flows from the reservoir to a vaporizer/heat exchanger located at the bottom of the sample tube. The LN2 flow rate is controlled by a needle valve located in the reservoir. The temperature is adjusted by adding heat to the hi-power heater in the vaporizer/heat exchanger.

bulletCLOSED CYCLE CRYOGENIC WORKSTATIONS
CRYOGEN FREE
10K Refrigerators
Using a refrigerator (no cryogens), these systems provide a quick and easy way to reach low temperature down to 8K. Systems can be configured with sample in vacuum or top loading sample in exchange gas.

4K Refrigerators
Using a refrigerator (no cryogens), these systems provide a quick and easy way to reach low temperature down to below 4K. Systems can be configured with sample in vacuum with a selectable cooling power of 0.1W to 1.5W of cooling power at 4.2K! A popular configuration is top loading sample in exchange gas with an exclusive CRYO option that provides sample temperatures down to 1.5 K!

3He Insert and 4K Refrigerator
A low vibration pulse tube refrigerator condenses helium 3. An internal charcoal adsorption pump is used to lower the vapor pressure above the He, lowering the temperature to approximately 300 mK!

4K Refrigerator with
conductively cooled superconducting magnet
Available in split coil or standard solenoid designs. One refrigerator design with sample variable temperature. Other configurations include Room Temperature Bore or vacuum lock for flow cryostat.
